Planning: Mise en scene (COSTUMES)

1st shot: The girl is dressed in a high waited skirt and bra/top. The image I wanted to be translated is a girl stripped from her innocence: she's being possessed by love in a sense.

Here is a group shot of the possessed girl and her evil 'minions' they are all dressed the same wearing black masks, black corsets and black leggings with heels. The colour black symbolises death and darkness. The corsets and heels show a sex appeal which I felt will appeal to a male audience as well as female.

Here in this shot the girl is wearing a black cape pouring black water into a stone bowl. She is wearing a long swooping dress. The idea of a black cape shows a sense of secrecy and witchcraft. The idea of black water shows 'disease' here the girl is shown to be diseased by love- she's going crazy by love.

Trees are associated in scary films to be creepy, to create a kind of eerie atmosphere. The fact that the girl is hanging on the tree associates her with the tree and all of it's connotations. She is wearing a long floaty dress which when used against the wind can make the setting look uncomfortable and the girl look dead.

Here the girl is wearing a wedding dress. The fact that she is wearing this dress poses her innocently and with purity. The fact that she is trapped at the old house and cannot leave shows that she is being taken by 'the dark spirits of love'

Mother nature can be seen to have a terrifying effect on the world with its natural disasters. Here the girl is dressed in dead leaves. The fact that nature is dead is not a nice thought and it looks like she's been 'born' out of the soil.

In children's books, little red riding hood is an innocent girl who finds trouble in the woods. Here the girl is dressed as this character and is shown walking around in caution from 'the big bad wolf' that here is love coming to get her.

For the chorus i wanted to try a different effect. Dark against UV makes a quite alien affect which helps with me eerie look in my music video.

Here the girl is creating a 'love potion' she pours in some poison which is hinting back to the whole ideal of the narrative of the video: possession. She is wearing a chef outfit to show that she is at the fore-front of the possession and she has already taken the affects of the 'potion'
