Research: Genre: The conventions of electro-pop-videos

As we've seen below, video's from this genre have all different kinds of conventions: Dogs, Bright colours, UV paints, Body Gems, Men with shaved heads, skimpy/show girl clothing, train dancing, sexual content, fog/mist, a big tractor, using holes to guide camera into scenes, crazy/warped backgrounds, pop art wording, slow-motion fighting scenes, colourful cartoon T-shirts that change as you walk, a tribe dancing around a fire, merging 2 singers together, zebras, paper butterflies, rolling clouds, surfing dowm a tunnel of light, riding a huge grey cat, a mass of dolphins, people flying on violins.....you get the picture? It seems that all of the conventions of electro pop seem to be very random. Nothing seems typical, producers are free to explore anything they like which is great for me! I feel i have made the right choice with sticking to this genre, i feel it opens the door for lots of exciting things to come!
